Founder Paul LeBlanc has a broad technical background with decades of experience in product design, project management, embedded systems, microprocessor design, mixed signal design, and software development. He earned a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, two Bachelors degrees in Physics and Electronic Engineering, and is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Massachusetts.
Before founding LeBlanc Laboratories, Mr. LeBlanc gained experience in Medical, Industrial, and Aerospace applications with the following companies:
Mentor Ophthalmics:
R&D Director, Manager of Electrical and Software Design, Chief Engineer, developing products for diagnostic and surgical ultrasound, tonometery, RF coagulation, phacoemulsification and liposuction.
Hewlett-Packard:
Manufacturing Development Engineer developing rotatable phased-array ultrasound imaging transducers for cardiac applications.
Itek Optical Systems:
Senior Electrical Engineer, performing R&D of piezoelectric and electrostrictive actuators and driver electronics for deformable mirrors used in adaptive optics systems including a DSP Real-Time Laser Interferometer
Fava Control Systems:
Designed, installed, and operated control systems for use in nuclear power plants.
